Change in BeCA organisation

After 7 years at the helm of the BeCA office, our Executive Coordinator Isabelle De Gandt has accepted a new professional challenge and will be leaving our association in a few days.
During these 7 years, Isabelle has reviewed our processes and brought her previous professional experience to make our association more efficient, more professional, and better adapted to new challenges. We would like to thank her for all that she has given to Beca over the years, and we wish her a lot of success in her new career. Our new Office Manager will be joining us in December, and the committee members will be running the association during the transition period.

This change in organization will be an opportunity for our association to rethink its way of working towards a more collaborative approach by pilots. We need to join forces to face current and future challenges. Some tasks will be outsourced (IT, accounting …) but more than ever your pilot association needs You! We are calling on our members to get actively involved and to contribute with their input to spread the voice of the pilots out loud, defend our profession and support the pilot groups in airlines. Some key active members already volunteered and will be involved in working groups, dealing with specific issues (Loss of License, Licensing, Peer Support…).

We will come back to this in a separate communication, but already think not only about “what BeCA can do for you but also what you can do for BeCA

Let’s get together to keep our association an association for pilots by pilots!
